Threads has altered Elon Musk's X in this way

Wednesday saw the release of fresh information on the development of Threads, a social networking site owned by Meta that was introduced as an alternative to Elon Musk’s X last year.

According to the statistics, Threads is gaining ground on Elon Musk’s previous Twitter, X, in the contest for daily active users.

Apptopia’s analytics show that whereas X hosts 22 million users in the US, Threads has 28 million daily active users.

Around 250 million people use X every day worldwide, compared to 130 million users of Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta.

In response to adjustments that billionaire Elon Musk began making to his social networking platform that consumers found intolerable, Threads was introduced in July 2023 as a rival.

Following its debut, Threads garnered millions of users, surpassing the mark set by ChatGPT, an AI tool developed by Microsoft-backed start-up OpenAI.

In less than five days, over 100 million people had signed up for the app, which is linked to the photo-sharing website Instagram.

Since SpaceX’s founder purchased X in October 2022, the Washington Times claims that the company has been in a state of alleged stasis. Last year, it was renamed from Twitter to X.
