According to the BBC, Elon Musk business Neuralink made history by successfully implanting its first brain chip in a human being.
After undergoing the treatment on Sunday, the first receiver of the brain chip, also referred to as “telepathy,” is apparently recuperating nicely.
After widespread criticism, the firm received approval from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in May.

Elon Musk, the project’s visionary, announced the news on his X account. “Initial results show promising neuron spike detection,” he stated.
The business wants to change the way people with diseases like Alzheimer’s are treated by linking human brains to computers.
It also seeks to improve human abilities and raise them to the level of AI.
“In the end, this has the potential to restore full body movement,” Musk stated in an interview.
Long term, Neuralink aims to improve human-to-AI (and human-to-human) bandwidth by several orders of magnitude in order to contribute to AI risk reduction and civilizational risk reduction. What if Stephen Hawking had possessed this?
