TikTok Disputes Turn Deadly Two Young Women Killed in Pakistan

Father Kills Daughter Over TikTok Account, Another TikToker Also Murdered

Police say the sad incident happened a day earlier. A murder case has now been registered after Head Constable Shahbaz Anjum Kayani filed a complaint. The man who committed the crime ran away right after.

At first, the girl’s family said she had taken her own life. But after investigating, police found evidence that proved she was murdered.

The accused man, named Ikhlaq, reportedly told his daughter Mehak to delete her TikTok account. When she refused, he became angry and shot her.

Police collected forensic evidence from the crime scene and are now searching for Ikhlaq, who is still missing.

This case has caused public anger and started new conversations about honour killings and how some parents misuse their power.

Earlier, another TikToker named Sana Yousaf was also killed. She was shot dead after rejecting a man’s friendship proposal many times.

According to Islamabad’s police chief, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the main suspect, 22-year-old Umar, wanted to be friends with Sana. When she kept saying no, he allegedly killed her.

“This case has shocked people in Islamabad and across Pakistan,” the police chief said.

Police formed seven investigation teams and questioned 37 people. They also conducted 11 raids in different cities, including Islamabad and Faisalabad. The suspect was finally arrested in Faisalabad.

Police also found the murder weapon and Sana’s iPhone with him.
