Tom Holland Opens Up About Dyslexia, ADHD, and Creative Struggles

Actor Tom Holland, 29, is opening up about his personal challenges, revealing that he was diagnosed with dyslexia at age seven and also lives with ADHD. In a candid interview, Holland spoke about how these conditions sometimes make his craft more demanding—and how he learns to navigate them.

“I have ADHD and I’m dyslexic, and I find sometimes when someone gives me a blank canvas that it can be slightly intimidating,” Holland admitted. “Sometimes you are met with those challenges when developing a character.”

The Marvel star emphasized the importance of play and creativity in overcoming obstacles. “Any way that you can, as a young person or as an adult, interact with something that forces you to be creative and forces you to think outside the box and make changes… I think the more we do that sort of stuff, the better,” he explained.

On the professional front, Holland is busy with major projects, including Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film The Odyssey and the next installment of the Spider-Man franchise, Brand New Day. Meanwhile, speculation continues that he could be the frontrunner to take on the iconic role of James Bond in the next film.
