Trump Announces Oil Deal with Pakistan, Hints at Exports to India

In a recent social media post, former US President Donald Trump said that the United States and Pakistan have agreed to work together to develop Pakistan’s oil reserves.

Trump shared that both countries will choose an oil company to lead this big project. He also mentioned that in the future, Pakistan might even export oil to India.

“We have just made a deal with Pakistan to work on their massive oil reserves. We are choosing the company that will lead this partnership. Who knows, maybe they’ll sell oil to India one day,” Trump posted.

Trump also talked about new trade deals being discussed at the White House. He said he was busy speaking with leaders from different countries and working on lowering trade tariffs.

He mentioned that South Korea is under a 25% tariff and has offered a plan to reduce it. Trump added that other countries are also making offers for tariff cuts, which will help lower the US trade deficit.

This announcement came shortly after Trump said the US would impose a 25% tariff on goods from India starting August 1.
