Pakistan Army Kills India-Backed Militants in Waziristan

The Pakistan Army said that it carried out an important operation in the Hassan Khel area of North Waziristan, where several militants supported by India, known as Fitna Al-Khwarij, were killed.

During the operation, security forces also found a large amount of weapons, bullets, and explosives. The army’s quick action showed once again that it is ready to fight against terrorism coming from across the border.

The military said Pakistan is strongly committed to stopping Indian-supported terrorism and is fully prepared to deal with any threat near the border.

The army also asked the temporary Afghan government to make sure that Afghan land is not used for terrorist attacks against Pakistan, especially by groups supported by foreign countries.

It added that peace in the region is only possible if such terrorist groups are not given safe places to stay.

Earlier Operation in April

In April, the Pakistan Army had already stopped a big infiltration attempt by militants at the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in the same area, Hassan Khel.

According to the military, on the nights of April 25–26 and 26–27, 2025, they noticed a large group of militants trying to enter Pakistan from Afghanistan. The army reacted quickly and stopped them.

All 54 militants were killed in the operation, and a large stock of weapons and explosives was recovered from them.
