WrestleMania 2027 Set for Saudi Arabia, WWE Confirms Announcement
The wrestling world is buzzing after Saudi Arabian official Turki Alalshikh revealed on Snapchat Wednesday afternoon that WrestleMania will be held outside the United States for the first time.
In a live video, Alalshikh reportedly said, “WrestleMania has been announced, for the first time outside of America, WrestleMania in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2027.”
PWInsider reporter Mike Johnson confirmed the announcement’s authenticity, noting that a press release had been issued in Arabic earlier in the day—but was quickly pulled.
“It was apparently sent out accidentally before it was scheduled to be publicly issued,” Johnson wrote. “PWInsider.com can confirm, however, that the story is 100% legitimate and an official announcement is expected very soon.”
WWE has not yet officially commented on the location for WrestleMania 43.
Fans had previously speculated that WWE might host a WrestleMania-style event overseas, similar to the Greatest Royal Rumble in 2018. Now, it appears the iconic ‘Showcase of the Immortals’ will make its long-awaited international debut in Saudi Arabia.
