Anushka Sharma reveals her daughter’s name

Famous Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma and cricketer Virat Kohli welcomed their firstborn on January 11, last month.

The two have now shared a picture with their daughter and revealed her name. “We have lived together with love, presence, and gratitude as a way of life but this little one,” drum rolls, “Vamika has taken it to a whole new level!”

They continued to add, “Tears, laughter, worry, bliss – emotions that have been experienced in a span of minutes sometimes. Sleep is elusive but our hearts are so full. Thanking you all for your wishes, prayers, and good energy.”

On the occasion of their daughter’s birth, Kohli took to his social media and said, “We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers, and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Love, Virat.”

Soon after, Vamika started headlining all publishing outlets, following which the couple requested paparazzi to respect their privacy.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli announced back in August 2020 that they were adding another member to the family. On Twitter, they wrote, “And the, we were three! Arriving Jan 2021.”
