Mardan IBO: Two terrorists dead
In the Mardan area of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, security forces on Monday killed two terrorists during an intelligence-based operation, the military said in a statement.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reports that during the operation, there was a firefight that resulted in the deaths of both terrorists.
It claimed that the terrorists who were murdered had also left behind guns, ammo, and explosives. The terrorists were still actively engaged in a number of terrorist attacks in the region.
According to ISPR, a sanitization operation is being carried out to get rid of any further terrorists that may be there.
It went on to say that the people in the area welcomed the operation and gave security forces their whole support in putting an end to the threat posed by terrorists.
