Azma Bokhari Blames PTI for Rs10 Trillion Audit Scandal
Talking to the media, PML-N leader Azma Bokhari said, “Before making noise about the audit report, read it properly. It shows mismanagement during your own PTI government.”
She explained that the audit report being discussed covers the time when Usman Buzdar and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi were the Chief Ministers of Punjab, both from PTI.
Pointing to specific pages, she said, “Read pages 87 and 96. Maybe it will make you feel ashamed.”

Azma Bokhari clarified that the amount of Rs 10 trillion mentioned in the media relates to wheat purchases and subsidies from 2018 to 2023, a time when PTI was ruling Punjab.
“The people know very well who was in power during those years,” she said.

She called the PTI rule in Punjab from 2018 to 2023 “one of the worst times” full of corruption, bad governance, and theft. She said PTI did the same kind of looting in Punjab as they did in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) over 12 years.
She also named some people directly. “Scandals involving Bushra Bibi and Farah Gogi are officially recorded,” she said.
Azma Bokhari strongly said that PTI leaders Ali Amin and Barrister Saif will likely end up in jail for their wrongdoings.
Earlier, KP’s Information Adviser, Barrister Saif, had accused Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz of being involved in Rs10 trillion worth of corruption.
He said the Punjab government has not explained the financial mismanagement found in the audit report. According to him, the silence from Punjab shows that corruption is happening under Maryam Nawaz.
He also claimed that Punjab’s development projects have only started to take bribes, not to help the people.
