Security Forces Kill 18 Indian-Sponsored Terrorists in Balochistan Operations
Quetta, Balochistan – Pakistani security forces have successfully carried out multiple operations across Balochistan, eliminating at least 18 terrorists linked to Indian-sponsored networks, according to official sources.
The district administration reported that two people were wounded in a recent armed clash between rival groups, while an investigation into the incident is ongoing. Among those killed, four were unidentified armed men, and one belonged to a local tribal community.
Earlier on Wednesday, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Khuzdar, thwarting an attempt by terrorists to escape. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the operation targeted militants from the Indian proxy group Fitna al-Hindustan.
“During the operation on 1 October 2025 in Khuzdar District, security forces apprehended four terrorists attempting to flee while disguised in women’s clothing. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the suspects, who were actively involved in multiple terrorist activities in the area,” the ISPR statement said. “Sanitization operations continue to ensure no terrorists remain, reflecting Pakistan’s commitment to eliminating Indian-sponsored terrorism and bringing perpetrators to justice.”
In separate operations earlier, 10 terrorists were killed in the Gaza Band on the outskirts of Quetta after a heavy exchange of fire, leaving two security personnel injured. In operations in Zhob and Sherani districts, eight more militants were neutralized, with authorities recovering large caches of weapons and ammunition.
Security sources confirmed that five more militants, including a suicide bomber, were killed in Quetta on Tuesday during an attack orchestrated by the Fitna al-Hindustan network. The attack, which involved assailants disguised in Frontier Corps (FC) uniforms, injured two FC personnel. Security forces successfully neutralized the attackers at the scene.
