‘Tiger 3’s’ Emraan Hashmi is ‘dying’ to talk about his portrayal of a Pakistani agent
In the first trailer for Tiger 3, Bollywood star Salman Khan once again takes it upon himself to defend India. But with Emraan Hashmi’s Aatish, he looks to have found a worthy adversary this time.
Although expected, Hashmi’s casting in the third installment of the famed Tiger franchise has previously kept a secret for unclear reasons. Fans were thrilled to see the actor portraying a somewhat “mature” role in the Khan and Katrina Kaif movie, in which the former sports a beard and salt-and-pepper hair.
“I play a very different villain that is uncommon in Hindi cinema,” he continued. He is intellectual, and his mind is his most powerful tool. He also has enormous influence over governments around the world to carry out his cunning plans.
“He single-mindedly wants to destroy Tiger and his family and by doing that, he wants to take out the biggest super agent of India,” the Gangstar actor continued. He wants Tiger gone at any cost because he knows he’ll always be the last man standing for India.
The admirers were pleasantly surprised by his character. Hashmi said, “I was eager to tell people about Tiger 3 but couldn’t since I knew very well that the payout would be great when my role is revealed to the public. With the release of Tiger 3’s trailer, it was decided to highlight the anti-hero, and I’m pleased that viewers are enjoying my scary performance.
According to Pinkvilla, director Aditya Chopra has done everything possible to honor Hashmi’s portrayal of Aatish in the movie. The introduction scene for the Raaz 2 actor reportedly cost Yash Raj Films more than INR 100 million.
“Salman Khan films frequently have some of the bravest opening scenes for the actor, and his entrance scenes in Tiger Zinda Hai and Ek Tha Tiger are among the most recognizable in recent years. Salman will once again enter Tiger 3 in a heroic manner, according to a source who spoke with the publication.
“Katrina’s character Zoya has an independent opening scene in Tiger Zinda Hai. Not only that, but even the antagonist will make an unforgettable entrance this time. For Emraan Hashmi’s entrance in Tiger 3, Maneesh, Adi, and the stunt squad created an action scene that cost over INR100 million,” the insider said.
