At Mobile World Congress, PTCL Group Unveils the Shoq TV Box, Powered by Android TV

The state-of-the-art Shoq TV Set-top Box, powered by Android TV, will be introduced in Pakistan by PTCL Group, the country’s largest supplier of integrated ICT services and telecoms, with the goal of revolutionizing the TV watching experience for its consumers. At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona, Spain, it was announced by Karen Teo, VP Android Partnerships APAC, Google, and Hatem Bamatraf, President and Group CEO, PTCL & Ufone 4G. To deliver a revolutionary user experience, the Android TV Set-top Box will include an array of Google apps, including the Play Store, along with a stylish User Interface (UI) and eye-catching visuals.

With its seamless control and optimal convenience features, the new Android TV Set-top Box promises to provide the best possible entertainment. Users will be able to enjoy their favorite entertainment content on a big screen in an immersive way with pre-installed apps like Netflix and YouTube. To maximize their free time, users can effortlessly switch between TV and other suitable Android apps.
