Due to accusations of sex trafficking, Sean “Diddy” Combs may be arrested
A legal expert cautioned that Sean “Diddy” Combs faces a minimum sentence of 10-15 years in jail on one count of sex trafficking, and that “no possible plea” may save him from this punishment.
Following several accusations of sex trafficking, attorney Naema Rehmani—who is not connected to the investigation in any way—told Us Weekly on Tuesday, March 26, that Combs may be arrested in the next few days.
“If someone is found guilty of even one crime of sex trafficking, they might face a minimum 10- or 15-year jail sentence under federal law. Depending on the victim’s age, the judge cannot reduce the count for any of them,” the judge stated.
Rahmani expressed her concerns, “I wouldn’t be surprised if Diddy is arrested in the coming days or weeks and he’s going to have to face these charges,” hinting to the likelihood that Combs, 54, also known as P Diddy, may be taken into custody.
“There’s no possible plea that is going to get him off with a slap on the wrist or probation,” she asserted, eliminating any chance that the rapper would escape punishment if these simple accusations were proven.
Rahmani stated, “If the prosecutors are successful and able to prove it, he may end up dying in prison.”
Notably, the legal expert’s comments were made just a day after police authorities raided two of Diddy’s properties as part of a federal sex trafficking probe.
