The victims were recognized as citizens Safatullah and five-year-old Laiba Bibi, as well as Shahab Ali Khan, Attar Alam, Akbar Zaman, Inayatullah, and Muhammad Aslam of the Customs Intelligence.

The attackers had been concealed in the surrounding bushes on Daraban Road, according to the police.

Empties had been found in the bushes by the police during their first probe. They claimed it was impossible to instantly determine the exact number of attackers, who had all run from the scene.

In the Dera Ismail Khan area last month, a suicide bomber targeted a convoy of trucks leaving Tank, resulting in at least two fatalities and twenty-two wounded.
