2026 World Cup Tickets How to Buy
FIFA Unveils Ticket Plan for 2026 World Cup in U.S., Canada, and Mexico
FIFA has released details on ticket sales for the 2026 World Cup, which will see a record 48 teams competing across the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19 next year.
Ticket prices will vary depending on demand, and fans will have multiple options, including single-game tickets, venue-specific tickets, and team-specific packages.
Fans with a Visa card can register for a FIFA ID on the official website to enter a presale draw, which will take place from September 10 to 19. Those selected in the draw will be able to apply for tickets starting October 1. Purchases will be limited to four tickets per match, with a maximum of 40 tickets per person for the entire tournament.
A second phase of ticket sales is planned for later this year. Registration for Phase Two is expected to run from October 27 to 31, with sales taking place from mid-November to early December. Phase Three will begin after the tournament draw in Washington on December 5, allowing fans to apply for tickets to specific matches. Closer to the tournament, remaining tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
FIFA also plans to offer special “supporter tickets” for fans who want to sit with others cheering for the same team, as well as conditional supporter tickets that reserve spots in potential knockout-round matches. An official resale platform will be launched to provide fans with another way to secure tickets.
