CM Gandapur Meets Imran Khan at Adiala Jail, Discusses Party Unity
Islamabad: Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur met PTI Chairman Imran Khan today at Adiala Jail, in a meeting that lasted over two and a half hours. According to Barrister Saif, the discussion covered a wide range of significant issues.
“During the meeting, the Chief Minister briefed Imran Khan on key matters and brought him up to date on recent developments,” Barrister Saif said.
He added that internal party issues were also discussed in detail. Imran Khan reportedly gave strict instructions to address any attempts to create divisions within PTI.
“The PTI founder emphasized the need to counter baseless propaganda and take steps to maintain party unity,” Saif said. “He made it clear that there is no room for anyone attempting to sow discord within the party.”
In related developments, reports indicate that Imran Khan has restricted his sister, Aleema Khan, from interfering in PTI affairs, as reported on Monday, citing sources.
Two senior PTI leaders from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had reportedly approached the party chairman, expressing concerns that he was receiving misleading information about the provincial government. They noted that a lack of direct communication had led to misunderstandings, and Aleema Khan was accused of providing inaccurate reports regarding the KP administration.
Sources added that Chief Minister Gandapur’s visit was aimed at clarifying these misunderstandings and ensuring smooth coordination within the party.
