The stunning necklace was designed by New York-based designer Alex Moss, who went on to craft a surprise fifth-anniversary gift for the ‘Ghost’ singer, as reported by GQ magazine. Moss created a unique ‘one-of-one custom mushroom’ pendant for the couple, adorned with a dazzling array of diamonds and gems, including five stones on top, symbolizing their five years of marriage.
Moss praised Hailey’s impeccable taste and design sensibility, revealing that she was the one who initially proposed the idea of creating mushroom pendants or something similar. He then added his creative touch to design the mushroom pendant, which Hailey specifically requested to have a bubble-style appearance.”
When questioned about the meaning behind the mushrooms, Moss responded with a simple, “You’ll have to ask Hailey; this was her concept.”
Moss went into detail about the exquisite gems used in the pendant, describing them as the “absolute highest quality,” all of which were D color VVS top-grade, making the piece truly “priceless.”
He also mentioned that, to ensure the safe delivery of the extravagant ‘Bieber project,’ a member of his team personally flew to hand-deliver it.
Justin and Hailey exchanged vows in a private ceremony in New York back in 2018 when Justin was 24 and Hailey was 21. They reaffirmed their commitment with a second wedding ceremony in South Carolina at the end of September 2019.
To celebrate their anniversary, the couple shared heartfelt tributes earlier this month and embarked on a trip to Japan.
