Robert Downey Jr. discusses his “freaky” routines in his hotel room
Robert Downey Jr. has a distinctive hotel routine that he developed out of his passion for interior design.
The Marvel star revealed the information in an interview with his wife Susan Downey for People’s most recent cover story.
He started talking about how much he loved decorating, saying, “I love when I can ask her if she thinks we should paint the kitchen a different color or maybe put a new rug in her office.”
“I don’t mean to sound like a budding interior designer, but there are two types of people, and mine is the type that gets excited about curtains,” he said in jest.
The Oppenheimer actor continued by disclosing how his interests have influenced his way of living in Hollywood, acknowledging that he frequently rearranges hotel rooms to his preference.
“Even though we had just arrived at the hotel where we had prepared, Susan walks in, sets down her purse, takes a seat, and begins [getting ready].” “However, I have an 85-point process for customizing the room,” he stated.
Shortly before the interview, the Grammy winner said, “I was outside, I was rearranging furniture.” Really, it’s kind of weird.
