Pakistani fashion designer Hassan Sheheryar Yasin, commonly known as HSY, has taken a historical position. This local powerhouse recently secured a spot on the Oscars Committee of 2020. When he shared this big news on Instagram. The people congratulate him and were really happy with his great success.

While sharing the news he wrote, “Humbled and proud to be part of the Oscar committee for 2020.” He also shared further details and said, “The committee will be chaired by two-time Academy Award and Emmy winning documentary filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and includes Film Director Asad-ul-Haq, Actor Mehwish Hayat and Musician Faisal Kapadia.” The Oscar committee will be responsible for choosing one film as Pakistan’s official submission for the International Feature Film Award.
