Imran discloses that Qureshi discovered Cypher by “happenstance”

Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (PTI) websites not working in Pakistan

Imran Khan, the former prime minister and founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), said on Tuesday that former foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi discovered the diplomatic cipher by “happenstance” and that it was meant for former army chief general (retired) Qamar Javed Bajwa.

Speaking to the journalists inside the Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, he asserted that every attempt was made to bury the cypher issue since it would have exposed US diplomat Donald Lu.

Imran stated that in a formal meeting on Donald Lu’s speech, Pakistani ambassador Asad Majeed suggested demarche; nevertheless, it is currently being asserted that there was no conspiracy.

How come the United States was granted demarche if the cipher contained nothing? “Does anyone ever demarch the United States?” he said.

During the PTI’s three and a half years in office, no country, according to Imran, received a demarche. He did, however, note that following the cypher problem, PTI members began to leave.

He claimed that once the issue surfaced, Raja Riaz and other members began to visit the US embassy. He further alleged that an Intelligence Bureau (IB) report corroborated this trend.

“Unbeknownst to us, Bajwa paid Husain Haqqani $35,000 in October 2021 and had him tweet that Imran is anti-American while Bajwa is pro-American.”

Claiming that PML-N President Shehbaz had full backing from Bajwa, Imran stated that the case against PML-N supreme leader Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz was distinct because both were disqualified.

“No one is showing up to their rallies because of concern that they may withdraw from the race, as they have in the past. No matter what, elections must take place on February 8,” he continued.

Senior politician Javed Hashmi has served time in prison, according to the former prime minister, and he is aware that the system is against him.

The founder of PTI said the following about Chaudhry Nisar Ahmad Khan: “He is a 50-year-old friend who was invited to join PTI in April 2018, but Chaudhry Nisar is still Chaudhry Nisar.”

“If Chaudhry Nisar talks about joining us, Vigo Dala will reach his house to pick him up.”

He went on to say that the continuous battle was a component of a “freedom movement,” describing his incarceration as a kind of devotion within this collective.

Imran threatened to alter the ticket of any candidates who did not actively participate in the election and asked his party’s nominees to begin a nonviolent campaign that starts next Sunday.

Additionally, he accused the authorities of hindering PTI’s efforts to campaign for the election.
