Iran Rules Out Missile Talks Amid War

We have told them that as long as the attacks continue, there is no point in having talks,” said Iran’s foreign minister while speaking to local media on Friday.

Araghchi said he will meet European officials on Saturday, but made it clear that Iran will never agree to discuss its missile program.

He also said that tomorrow (June 21), he will hold talks with the foreign ministers of France, Germany, and the UK because they requested one-on-one meetings.

These talks will focus on Iran’s nuclear program and finding a peaceful, diplomatic solution.

He added that by now, everyone should understand the strength of Iran’s missiles. He repeated that Iran will never discuss its missiles, because they are only for defense.

The Iranian foreign minister also said that the UN Security Council will meet soon, as requested by Russia, China, Pakistan, Algeria, and some other countries.

Finally, he said that since the war began on June 13, Iran’s Foreign Ministry has supported the country’s armed forces.
