Joe Root, while playing his 151st Test, struck his 65th half-century in the format. He has also scored 35 centuries, which took his overall tally of 50+ scores to 100, surpassing Rahul Dravid who recorded 99 such scores during his career.
Legendary Sachin Tendulkar tops the list with an astonishing 119 scores of 50 or more in his career, including a remarkable 51 centuries.
Following closely are South African all-rounder Jacques Kallis and Australia’s legendary captain Ricky Ponting, both of whom are tied for the second position with an impressive tally of 103 scores.
