Man Arrested in Karachi Wife Murder Case
In a separate case, police in Karachi’s Soldier Bazar area arrested a man accused of murdering his wife. The suspect, identified as Qamar Abidi, was taken into custody after inconsistencies emerged in his statements and key testimony from his six-year-old daughter.
Abidi initially claimed he had been away from home for two days and had no role in his wife’s death. However, his daughter contradicted his version, saying her father was at home at the time of the incident.
Investigators later recovered Abidi’s blood-stained clothes, further strengthening the case against him.
