Karachi’s Jinnah Int’l Airport Joins ‘Road to Makkah’ Project Simplifying Hajj Travel
Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport is now part of the special “Road to Makkah” project. This project is meant to make things easier for pilgrims traveling to Hajj from Karachi. It’s all about making the journey smoother and less stressful.
The goal of the “Road to Makkah” project is to give special services to pilgrims at Karachi airport. This will help them get ready for Hajj without any extra hassle. The best part? Pilgrims won’t have to do immigration stuff when they land in Saudi Arabia.
Right now, the airport in Karachi is getting ready for this project. Once it starts, pilgrims won’t need to do immigration stuff at Jeddah and Madina airports in Saudi Arabia. Instead, the Saudi airport staff in Karachi will take care of everything.
To make room for the Saudi immigration process, the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) has set up two special counters. This will make things faster and smoother for Pakistani pilgrims, making sure they have a good journey for their important pilgrimage.
Just recently, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman decided to start the “Road to Makkah” project at Karachi airport right away. This shows how important it is to make things easier for people going to Hajj.
