Four Dead, Several Injured as Speeding Car Crashes in Karachi
At least four people, including a woman and a young girl, lost their lives when a speeding car crashed into a stormwater drain wall in Karachi, police officials confirmed on Tuesday.
The tragic incident occurred as the vehicle lost control while navigating a sharp turn and collided with the concrete structure. The impact was so intense that the car was destroyed.
Rescue teams promptly arrived at the scene and transferred the deceased and the injured to the Civil Hospital Karachi for medical treatment and legal procedures. Four others sustained injuries and are currently receiving treatment.
An old man dies in a water tanker accident at Vita Chowrangi
In a separate incident on the same day, a motorcyclist was killed after being hit by a speeding water tanker in Karachi’s Sharafi Goth area.
The accident took place near Future Mor when the tanker driver lost control and ran over the motorcyclist. The victim was identified as 27-year-old Muhammad Fasih, son of Abdul Basit.
Police have taken the tanker driver into custody and launched further investigations.
