Family of Three Killed in Karachi with Axes
Karachi – July 31, 2025: A man, his wife, and their son were killed in their home in Karachi, according to police. The victims were identified as Abdul Majeed, his wife Sakina, and their son Abdul Nabi.
Police said they were killed with sharp weapons. Two axes were found at the crime scene.
The family was originally from Balochistan. The couple had married by their own choice six years ago. Police believe the killers came to their home as guests a day before the attack and then escaped after committing the crime.
Sindh Home Minister Zia-Ul-Hassan Lanjar has taken serious notice of the case. He ordered the police to arrest the killers quickly and give a full report. He also told officials to make sure peace is maintained in the area.
Neighbors at Jinnah Hospital said Abdul Majeed worked as a laborer. One neighbor claimed that Sakina’s family may have been involved in the killings.
Police are still investigating the case and are looking for the people responsible.
