Clash Erupts in Karachi Software House; Girl Rescued, Four Arrested
Karachi – A tense situation unfolded when a girl, held at a local software house, managed to call her family for help, according to police reports.
Her family rushed to the location and confronted the software house owners, sparking a heated altercation that quickly escalated into an exchange of gunfire. Fortunately, no one was injured. Police arrived on the scene, rescued the girl safely, and arrested four individuals, including the software house owners, for their alleged involvement in the incident.
Karachi Police confirmed that an FIR is being registered on the complaint of the girl’s father. Investigations into the case are currently underway.
Earlier Kidnapping Case
In a separate incident, a four-year-old girl, Maira, was reportedly abducted for ransom from Karachi’s Civil Lines area. The incident, captured on video, shows a man kidnapping the child while her elder sister desperately chased the suspects in an attempt to save her.
Despite her efforts, the kidnappers escaped. The victim’s father said the abductors have demanded Rs. 1.5 million for the safe return of Maira.
Police have handed over the case to the Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC). However, the family has expressed frustration over what they describe as slow progress and unsatisfactory performance by the authorities.
They have appealed to higher authorities to intervene and ensure the swift recovery of the kidnapped girl.
