High Tides Flood Karachi Beaches Ban on Swimming Imposed

Big waves from the sea have hit the coastal areas of Manora, Hawkes Bay, and Sandspit.

The waves have entered some homes and huts near the beaches. Many roads in Manora and Sandspit are now underwater.

People living in the affected areas are being moved to safer places.

High Waves Flood Coastal Areas in Karachi

The city government has banned swimming and bathing in the sea by using Section 144 of the law.

Police have been posted near the beaches to stop people from visiting during the rainy weather.

Every year in June, July, and August, the city puts these safety rules in place to stop accidents from strong sea waves.
