Karachi Trailer Accident Injures Four Near Baldia
Four Injured as Trailer Crushes Motorcycles in Karachi
KARACHI – A serious road accident took place near Baldia No. 2 on Thursday when a 22-wheeler trailer ran over several motorcycles, leaving at least four riders injured.
According to rescue officials, the injured were quickly shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. Three motorcycles remained stuck under the massive trailer as police and rescue teams worked to clear the site.
Traffic in the surrounding area came to a standstill following the crash, while authorities launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
Despite repeated measures such as installing cameras, trackers, and imposing time restrictions on heavy vehicles, Karachi continues to witness fatal road mishaps due to reckless driving and poor traffic discipline.
Just last month, a similar tragedy occurred in the Federal B Area, where a speeding heavy vehicle crushed two siblings, 22-year-old Mahnoor and her younger brother, Ahmed Raza, to death. Their father, who was riding the motorcycle with them, survived with serious injuries.
