Karachi Vendor Attack Abuse Confession
Karachi Vendor Attacks Woman, Family Reports Threats
KARACHI – A heated argument at a local stall took a violent turn when the vendor attacked a woman, breaking one of her fingers. Witnesses said a large crowd was present at the time, yet no one intervened to stop the assault, leaving the woman and her daughter defenseless.
The victim’s daughter later voiced her pain, saying there was no one to stop the cruelty or speak out against the injustice.
Police registered a case at Rizvia Police Station on the victim’s complaint. However, the family has alleged that they are now receiving threats from the accused. They have appealed to authorities to take immediate action against the attacker and provide them with protection.
Child Abuse Accused Confesses in Court
In a separate case, Shabir Tanoli, accused of sexually abusing multiple children in Karachi, confessed to his crimes before a judicial magistrate at the City Court, reported.
According to details, Tanoli gave his statement under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code in six separate rape cases. He admitted to abusing at least five children, luring them with money and taking them to secluded places, sometimes recording videos of the acts. “I am ashamed of what I did,” he told the court.
Before recording the confession, the magistrate gave Tanoli two hours to reconsider, warning that his statement could be used against him during trial.
