Karachi Woman Found Dead in Banaras Colony, Husband Suspected
A 45-year-old woman was found dead at her residence in Banaras Frontier Colony, raising suspicions of domestic violence and foul play.
The deceased has been identified as Malikhat Bibi. According to initial reports, she was allegedly murdered by her husband using a knife. Following the incident, the suspect fled the scene. Police are actively searching for him.
The Crime Scene Unit reached the location and collected forensic evidence to assist in the ongoing investigation.
This incident follows another tragic case reported earlier this week in Karachi, where a woman’s tortured body was discovered in a pit at the Metroville graveyard, located in the SITE area.
SSP Keamari Faizan Ali confirmed that the victim in the Metroville case had been brutally tortured before being killed, with her hands tied behind her back.
Authorities have expressed serious concern over the rising number of such cases and have vowed to expedite investigations to ensure justice for the victims.
