Kashif Zameer Arrested Again as CCD Recovers Illegal Weapons

Kashif Zameer Arrested Again for Carrying Weapons Publicly

Police say that officers from the Crime Control Department (CCD) found guns with Kashif Zameer and his guards in the Iqbal Town area. Several cases have now been filed against him at the CCD police station.

Recently, videos went viral on social media showing Kashif Zameer with his guards openly carrying guns in public places.

This is not the first time Kashif Zameer has been arrested. He has faced several cases in the past, including fraud.

His latest arrest comes during strict security in Punjab. The government has put Section 144 in place from June 27 to July 6 (1st to 10th Muharram). This law bans people from showing weapons or carrying flammable items in public without special permission.

The government has also banned pillion riding (riding a motorbike with a passenger) during this time, except for women, older people, and police officers. These rules will stay in effect throughout Punjab until 10th Muharram.

Father and Son Killed in Police Encounter

In another incident, two men—reportedly a father and son—were killed in a police encounter with the CCD in Lahore’s Shahdara area.

According to the police, they received a report about two men committing a street crime on a motorcycle. When police tried to stop them, the suspects allegedly shot at the officers. In return fire, both were badly hurt and later died on the way to the hospital.
