Amir Muqam Signals Possible Change in KP Government

Federal Minister Amir Muqam has said that the current political situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) could lead to a change in the provincial government. He said that anything could happen at any time in KP.

He added that his party is open to talking with the opposition and wants to find peaceful political solutions.

Amir Muqam also said that PTI’s recent letter will be looked at by party leaders to see if there’s a chance for further talks.

He pointed out that PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) needs to understand that Parliament is a place for serious political discussions, not for shouting and misbehavior. He said, “If PTI understands this, then talks can happen.”

Amir Muqam Hints at Possible Change in KP Government

Talking about divisions inside PTI, Amir Muqam said, “One PTI member sends a letter for dialogue, while Aleema Khan calls for protests. This shows that PTI is not united.”

He added that PTI members all have different views and ways of doing things, which shows there are many internal groups in the party.

Earlier, Amir Muqam met the Governor of KP, Faisal Karim Kundi, in Islamabad. They talked about the current political situation in the province.

Both leaders expressed serious concerns about poor governance, rising crime, and what they called record-breaking corruption under the current KP government. They said the current leadership is harming the province.

They also discussed the recent Supreme Court decision on reserved seats and how it could affect KP politics.

Other topics discussed included the situation in Kashmir, problems in the merged tribal districts (formerly FATA), and the misuse of federal money meant for these areas. They criticized the KP government for spending this money wrongly and said that the concerns of people in these districts must be taken seriously.
