KP Rescue 1122 Launches Live Recruitment to Ensure Transparency
Peshawar – Rescue 1122, the emergency service formed under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Emergency Rescue Service Act, 2012, is inviting candidates for interviews for positions advertised back in February 2022. The service provides critical emergency support across the entire KP province.
According to an official press release, only candidates who have successfully cleared the ETEA physical and written tests will be eligible to appear for the interviews.
In a historic first for Pakistan, the entire recruitment process will be broadcast live on social media, aiming to ensure full transparency. Representatives from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), anti-corruption agencies, Transparency International, the media, and other organisations will also be present to oversee the proceedings.
Rescue 1122 KP stated that this initiative is designed to set a new benchmark for fair, merit-based recruitment in the country.
Rescue 1122 initially launched as a professional pre-hospital emergency service in Lahore, achieving an impressive average response time of just seven minutes, on par with developed nations. Key factors behind its success included:
