LOS ANGELES — In a strange turn of events, American rapper Lil Nas X was arrested after being spotted walking nearly naked on Ventura Boulevard in Los Angeles during the early hours of the morning. The 25-year-old was reportedly wearing only white underpants and boots as stunned onlookers alerted police.
According to authorities, when officers approached the Old Town Road hitmaker following reports of “a man walking nude in the street,” he allegedly assaulted one of them. He was immediately taken into custody on charges of battery.
Before being booked, officials transferred the rapper to a local hospital, suspecting a possible drug overdose. After receiving treatment and being briefly hospitalized, he was discharged and moved to Valley Jail in Van Nuys, where he was held on a misdemeanor charge.
