Armed Attack in Mastung: One Dead, Several Injured
In Mastung city, unknown armed men attacked a government office, according to police. The attackers burned three government vehicles and also targeted three nearby banks.
A passerby was killed in the crossfire, and several others were injured. The injured people have been taken to Nawab Ghous Bakhsh Raisani Hospital for treatment.
Eyewitnesses said there was heavy gunfire and loud explosions during the attack. This caused fear in the area, and shops and markets were quickly closed. Security forces arrived, sealed off the area, and started a search operation to catch the attackers.

Earlier, on June 28, 2025, the Pakistan Army conducted a special operation in Duki District, Balochistan. This operation was based on intelligence reports about terrorists linked to an Indian proxy group called Fitna al Hindustan.
According to the army’s media wing (ISPR), the security forces located and attacked the hideout of the terrorists. After a heavy exchange of fire, two terrorists were killed, and two others were captured alive.
