Exciting News New Zealand Cricket Team to Tour Pakistan for 5 T20Is

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially declared that the men’s cricket team from New Zealand will come to Pakistan for a series of five T20Is, starting on April 14.

The Blackcaps will arrive in Islamabad on the specified date and are planned to play three T20Is at Rawalpindi’s Pindi Cricket Stadium on April 18, 20, and 21.

After these matches, the teams will go to Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium for the final two T20Is on April 25 and 27.

All games are set to begin at 7 pm PKT. The prices for tickets will be made reasonable, and information about ticket sales will be shared soon.

This visit marks New Zealand’s third trip to Pakistan in 17 months. Previously, they had come to Pakistan in December 2022/January 2023 for two Tests and three ODIs – part of the ICC Men’s Championship. Later that year, in April, they visited Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Karachi for 10 white-ball matches.

Usman Wahla, PCB’s Director of International Cricket, expressed his excitement about hosting the New Zealand team and expects a competitive series in preparation for the ICC T20 World Cup.

“In a sign of the strong friendship between Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and New Zealand Cricket (NZC), we are thrilled to announce the schedule for the New Zealand men’s team tour to Pakistan 2024,” said Usman. “This tour represents the deep ties and mutual respect between our cricketing nations,” he added. “Our passionate cricket fans and the people of Pakistan will warmly welcome the New Zealand team again, and we look forward to another exciting series, which is crucial for our preparation for this year’s ICC T20 World Cup,” he concluded.
