Six independent candidates elected to the Punjab Assembly and one newly elected independent member of the National Assembly have formally joined the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), marking a momentous political development on Friday, according to Express News.

Notable individuals who won elections in their respective constituencies include Rasheed Akbar Nawani from Bhakkar’s NA-92, Ahmed Nawaz Nawani from Bhakkar’s PP-90, Amir Inayat Shahani from Bhakkar’s PP-92 and PP-93, Rana Abdul Manan from Muzaffargarh’s PP-272, Akbar Hayat Hiraj from Khanewal’s PP-205, and Asghar Hayat Hiraj from Khanewal’s PP-212.

They echoed the opinions expressed during the meeting when they said, “Joining PML-N is a testament to our belief in the leadership of Nawaz Sharif and the party’s commitment to serving Pakistan.”
Maryam greeted the arrivals, praised their choice, and affirmed that their assistance was essential to guiding Pakistan toward stability and advancement. During the conversation, she said, “Your spirit and broader thinking align with our vision for a prosperous Pakistan.”
Speaking on the continued difficulties the country faces, Maryam emphasized the necessity for stability over disorder and denounced those who want to thwart advancement and peace. “Pakistan does not require chaos; it needs stability, and our party stands firm in delivering practical solutions,” she stated.
Reiterating their faith in Nawaz and Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership, the newly elected MPs cited the PML-N’s historic contributions to Punjab and Pakistan.
They emphasized that they made their decision to join only after consulting with supporters and constituents, with the PML-N’s implementable agenda serving as a motivating element.
In response, Maryam Nawaz reaffirmed the PML-N’s dedication to helping the Punjabi people and promised to turn the province into a symbol of advancement. She reaffirmed, “We are willing to sacrifice our politics a million times for the betterment of Pakistan,” demonstrating the party’s commitment to the welfare of the country.
