“Cult follower psychopath” detained for torturing wife in videos
A “psychopath cult follower” was apprehended by female cops on Friday, and they also saved his wife and four children from horrifying abuse and torture.
According to SHO Iram Amjad of the District Central Women Police Station, Tahir Abbas, the suspect, has admitted to being a member of a global cult.
Tahir revealed to the police during interrogation that he used to get duties via email from the cult hierarchy. Among these chores were torturing and abusing his wife and kids and creating films of the assault.
SHO Iram said that Tahir’s wife had visible signs of bruises and trauma.
According to the police, the victim started talking about the experience after learning that their daughter was her husband’s next target.
Tahir’s cult has assigned him the mission of filming himself abusing his own daughter both sexually and physically.
Through her sister, who contacted the women’s police station for assistance, Tahir’s wife was able to apprehend him and secure the victims’ release.
The SHO claims that preliminary findings indicate Tahir has been using his covert organization as the excuse for his vile activities, which include sexual harassment and torture. She added that once the victim’s sister filed a complaint against him, the police responded right away. Tahir has been charged by police, and they have taken his laptop and other belongings for further examination.
In this context, more questions are being asked of the apprehended suspects.
Remand in physical form
The man suspected of torturing his wife and creating pornographic videos was placed under physical remand for five days by police in Karachi City Court, according to Judicial Magistrate Central Madad Ali Khoso.
Before the court, the police presented Tahir Abbas, the accused who had been detained.
Citing the necessity to question the accused further, the Investigating Officer (IO) asked the court to grant remand.

Tahir’s ex-wife attended the hearing and disclosed that she had also been subjected to abuse and torture by the accused. She further asserted that the defendant belonged to a covert cult.
The accused retorted that all of the accusations made against him were unfounded and that his wife’s actions were indeed suspicious.
The defense attorney contended that the wife and daughter ought to be examined medically if there are claims of abuse. The investigator withheld the existence of the videos from the court.
The accused were placed under physical remand for five days by the court, with instructions to provide a progress report at the following hearing. A case was registered against the accused by his wife, police stated.
