Oman Saudi Form G7 Joint Venture
Oman, Saudi Arabia Launch Joint Company to Boost Trade and Tourism
Muscat – Oman and Saudi Arabia have taken another step toward deepening their economic ties with the launch of a new joint venture, announced during the Omani-Saudi Franchise Exhibition.
The forum, hosted by the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) in cooperation with the Federation of Saudi Chambers, focused on strengthening trade, investment, and industrial partnerships between the two Gulf neighbors.
Omani officials presented a series of investment opportunities, highlighting incentives available through the Invest Oman platform, as well as projects identified by the Oman Investment Authority and industrial prospects developed by Madayn. Saudi representatives, meanwhile, outlined the Kingdom’s investment climate, emphasizing reforms and growth sectors under Saudi Vision 2030.
A key session, titled “The Reality and Prospects of Economic Integration and Cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” explored ways to expand bilateral trade, encourage private-sector partnerships, and enhance industrial integration.
The forum also included B2B meetings between Omani and Saudi business leaders, opening the door to new agreements and collaborations.
In a major outcome, both sides unveiled the creation of a joint Omani-Saudi company called “G7”, to be managed by Serapis Entertainment Group. The new venture will focus on tourism promotion, franchise marketing, and organizing conferences, exhibitions, and international festivals.
