Oman Visa Guide 2025 VisaFree Entry eVisa & GCC Tourist Visa Explained

Planning a Trip to Oman in 2025? Here’s How to Get a Visa

Oman is one of the most beautiful places to visit in the Middle East. In 2025, the country is making it easier for tourists with simple visa rules. From free entry to online visas, there are many ways to enter Oman.

Here is a simple guide to help you pick the best visa option.

 14-Day Visa-Free Entry for Over 100 Countries
If you’re from countries like the USA, UK, Canada, Germany, Australia, Japan, or Brazil, you can visit Oman for 14 days without a visa.

To enter, you must have:

A passport valid for at least 6 months

A confirmed hotel booking

A return flight ticket

Travel health insurance

Proof you have enough money

You cannot extend this stay. For more than 14 days, you need an eVisa.
Citizens from GCC countries (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait) can enter Oman without any visa limits.

Visa-Free Entry If You Hold a Valid Visa from Trusted Countries
If you’re from countries not on the visa-free list, like India, Egypt, Vietnam, or Morocco, you can still enter Oman without a visa for 14 days if you already have a valid visa or residency from:

United States

United Kingdom

Canada

Schengen countries

Australia

Japan

Any GCC country

This rule also helps your spouse and children, even if they have a different nationality.

Oman eVisa: For Stays Longer Than 14 Days
If you’re staying more than 14 days or don’t qualify for visa-free entry, apply for an eVisa online. The process is easy and fully digital.

How to apply:

Go to the Royal Oman Police website

Register and fill out the online form

Upload your passport photo and documents

Pay the visa fee

Visa options:

10-day visa: ~$13

30-day single-entry visa: ~$52
