According to the ministry, Pakistan’s continuous commitment to meeting the pressing humanitarian needs of the Gaza population is demonstrated by its sustained help.
Since October 7, more than 27,000 people—mostly women and children—have died and another 66,000 have been injured in the besieged area as a result of Israeli violence.
The Gaza Health Ministry said in a statement today that Israeli strikes had resulted in 27,365 Palestinian deaths and 66,630 injuries.
This Monday, Qatar said that Hamas has granted its “initial” consent to a proposed humanitarian respite in the conflict with Israel and a hostage-prisoner swap.
Majed al-Ansari, a spokeswoman for Qatar’s foreign ministry, stated: “The meeting in Paris succeeded in consolidating the proposals.”
Officials from Qatar, the US, Israel, and Egypt attended the meeting.
“That proposal has been approved by the Israeli side and now we have an initial positive confirmation from the Hamas’ side.”
Ansari stated that “good news” on a fresh ceasefire in the war was anticipated “in the next couple of weeks”.
