Pakistan to Pay $1.3 Billion Eurobond in 2026, Finance Minister Confirms
Peshawar: Addressing the Pakistan Business Summit in Peshawar, the Finance Minister stated that Pakistan is set to repay a $1.3 billion Eurobond in April 2026.
The minister highlighted that the country has already repaid its $500 million Eurobond, which matured on September 30, 2025, fulfilling its financial obligations on time.
He added that Pakistan’s debt sustainability indicators have strengthened, placing the country in a more stable financial position.
The Finance Minister also noted a steady rise in foreign remittances, projecting them to reach $43 billion soon.
On monetary policy, he said both the policy rate and government expenditures are trending downward, with further reductions possible in the near future.
