Pakistan Launches Online Certificate Verification Portal

Federal Education Minister Launches Online Academic Services Portal to Simplify Certificate Verification

Islamabad – In a major step towards digitising education services, Federal Minister for Education, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, inaugurated the new CCD Portal, aimed at simplifying administrative processes and enhancing transparency in academic documentation.

The portal, which offers round-the-clock online support, is accessible to students across Pakistan and overseas. Speaking at the launch, IBCC Executive Director Ghulam Ali Mallah highlighted the platform’s key features, including online certificate verification and a QR code-based tracking system that allows users to monitor the status of their document verification.

“The convenience of the public is our top priority,” Mallah said, noting that the portal underwent six months of beta testing before its official release. He also added that overseas Pakistani students and parents can send queries via email and expect responses within 24 hours, providing an alternative for those unable to visit in person.

Through the CCD Portal, students can verify certificates, submit complaints, and request document-related services—all from a single digital platform. The initiative aims to reduce processing delays and improve communication between students and the IBCC.

Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui praised the launch as a “critical advancement in digitising education services,” stressing its role in making academic procedures more transparent and student-friendly.
