Pakistan and Turkey Condemn Israel’s Actions in Gaza
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar had a phone call with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
Both leaders strongly condemned Israel’s actions in Gaza. They said they were very worried about the suffering of the people in Gaza, including hunger, forced removal from homes, and the killing of innocent people.
They showed full support for the people of Palestine and their fight for freedom. They also hoped the United Nations meeting on Monday would bring real steps toward a two-state solution for peace.
Ishaq Dar also spoke on the phone with Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi.
They talked about the serious humanitarian crisis in Gaza and how millions of Palestinians are affected.
Dar repeated Pakistan’s strong support for Palestinians and asked for urgent help and safe delivery of aid to Gaza.
They also discussed a possible visit from a top Iranian official to Pakistan soon.
