PCB Chief Naqvi Affirms Shan Masood’s Leadership Amidst Upcoming Bangladesh

“No decision has been made to remove Shan Masood as Test captain of the national team,” he clarified, adding that the 34-year-old opening batter will continue to lead Men in Green in Tests as he had received positive feedback regarding Masood’s leadership.

“Many have given positive feedback about his leadership,” said the PCB chairman.

On venues for the Bangladesh Test series, Mohsin Naqvi said that the PCB has finalized the venues for the Test series against Bangladesh, which will be held in Multan, Karachi, or Rawalpindi as Gaddafi Stadium is undergoing upgradation.

It is pertinent to mention here that the two-match series between Pakistan and Bangladesh is part of the ICC Test Championship 2023-2025.
