PDMA Warns of Flood Risk in Punjab from July 7 to 9
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has warned that river water levels may rise a lot between July 7 and July 9.
A high flood is expected in the Chenab River at Maralla headworks.
There is also a risk of medium to high flooding in smaller water channels near the Ravi and Chenab rivers.
PDMA has warned about the possibility of flash floods in mountain streams (Rod Kohis) in Dera Ghazi Khan.

The authority has also warned about possible urban flooding in Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot, and Rawalpindi areas.
Alerts have been sent to Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, and WASA officers.
Rescue 1122 has been asked to get ready for any emergency and to store enough fuel.
PDMA said people should be informed about the situation regularly and should be given clean water and food.
People and animals living near rivers should be moved to safer areas.
