New Umrah Rules in Saudi Arabia Perform Pilgrimage Easily with Any Visa
Saudi Arabia has announced new rules for people wanting to perform Umrah, the minor pilgrimage. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said that anyone with any type of visa can now do Umrah easily.
The ministry said that Umrah rituals are open to people with different visas, like personal, family, transit, labor, and e-visas. It doesn’t matter what kind of visa you have, you can still do Umrah.
People who want to do Umrah are advised to use the Nusuk app to get a permit and to follow the rules at the Grand Mosque in Mecca, which is the most important place in Islam. The Nusuk app helps with different things, like finding a place to stay, for Muslims planning to do Umrah and visit Medina, which is also an important place in Islam.
In the past few months, Saudi Arabia has made it easier for Muslims from other countries to do Umrah. They have made Umrah visas valid for longer, changed the rules so people can enter Saudi Arabia by land, air, or sea, and removed the rule that women pilgrims need a male guardian. People living in Gulf Cooperation Council countries and people with visas from Schengen, US, and UK can now use the Nusuk app to book Umrah appointments before they go to Saudi Arabia.
