Peshawar Mourns FC Martyrs as Leaders Pay Tribute
PESHAWAR – Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur joined mourners at the FC Headquarters in Peshawar on Sunday to offer funeral prayers for the three martyrs who lost their lives in a recent attack.
Inspector General of KP Police Zulfiqar Hameed, FC Commandant Nazir Gaara, KP Chief Secretary, and other senior officials were also present to honor the fallen heroes.
The martyrs have been identified as Naik Sadiq Hussain, Constable Abdul Ghaffar, and Constable Zewar Khan. Their coffins, draped in the national flag, were laid to rest with full honors, accompanied by floral wreaths and prayers for their eternal peace.
Paying tribute to their bravery, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said, “The sacrifices of these valiant sons will never go in vain. Their courage is a beacon for the nation, and their families are our families. Pakistan will forever remain indebted to them.” Together with CM Gandapur, he personally helped carry the coffins.
Later, the minister met the bereaved families, offering condolences and assuring them of the government’s full support. He also visited the FC Hospital to check on Naib Subedar Kashif, injured during the attack, praising his courage in confronting the militants.
Senior civil and military officials reiterated that the blood of the martyrs would not be in vain and reaffirmed their commitment to continue the fight against terrorism with full determination.
